Lessons Learned

I chose this topic because I have always found it interesting. I have had a passion for baseball since I was four years old. I knew I wanted to write about something in baseball, but did not know what to pick. When thinking of topics I thought about Jackie Robinson and immediately knew that was going to be my topic.  However, I only knew the basics of it. I thought that Jackie Robinson just integrated baseball, but now I know he did more than that. While I did my research I learned a lot about how to research. I learned that databases are one of the best ways to get reliable sources. While using these databases I learned how to narrow my search. I learned how to take broad searches and make them into exactly what I want to find. This project has made me a better and more efficient researcher. It will make other research paper easier to do in the future.
